Home buyers and renters…BEWARE !!

It was just recently brought to my attention of a local realtor [ here in Schuylkill County ] who is collecting an upfront application fee of $150.00 from potential renters.

Lifehouse Skit Live

Posted by Dave 4 COMMENTS

I experienced an awesome skit this morning during worship.  It is the well-know Lifehouse skit.  It was performed by the youth group at the Pottsville First United Methodist Church in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.  I have inserted a link to it later in this post.

Some of you may ask what does this have to do with buying or selling of homes, etc.  Well, it’s Sunday and the post will be a faith oriented message.  Besides, after you view it, you may find yourself connecting to the underlying message.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this skit, a young girl begins a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.  Then temptations and addictions of our world come between her and Christ.  First, a boyfriend relationship; then the lure of money; alcohol; vanity and anorexia; self-mutilation (cutting) and finally suicide.

She has been separated from the One who created her.  The One who loves her and wants her to be free from all the addictions.  And He rushes in and saves her.

What is between you and God?
Give it to Him.  He is bigger than any problem we can have.  Run back to Him.
He will be there.  He never left.

As always, your comments are welcomed and appreciated.

Have a great week !!!
